First Shoot of 2010!!

Today I had the privilege of working with the Rogers family. The weather was great and the company even warmer. One thing that struck me today was how tender and caring this big brother was to his baby sister. They were a group of troopers as we traipse over very slippery slopes to find a few, out of the way, locations. Thankfully I'm the only one who landed on her very embarrased butt and I managed to break the fall for my camera and not the other way around. Here are just a couple shots for our morning . Thanks Rogers family you were awesome!

2010

Wow! Another year has past, a year that has brought many changes in our home. It was a very full, busy year and I did not get to do nearly as much shooting as I would have liked. Daily life is beginning to settle back down after a wonderful Holiday Season celebrating Christ, family and friends.

I have been working a "real" job since August and that was a very interesting, challenging and tiring time. With my girls being in school full-time I thought it may be good to jump back into the "working" world, 6 months later I am now going to step back and just work a few hours a week. While I enjoy working, I am aiming for a good balance of being the At-Home Mom, working and of course enjoying my passion for photography. I've had the opportunity to get the what-if's out of the way and really make an informed choice on what I want to do and what is best for our family.

I am looking forward to another year of challenges, growing and learning and enjoying the blessings we've been giving. Wishing you the very best in 2010!
